Meal Plan Monday, July 2

Happy Canada Day! Ok, fine. Canada Day was yesterday, though most people have today off work. We spent the day splashing in our friend's pool and avoiding crowds. It was a fabulous way to spend Canada Day.

Our meal plan is short this week because we're hitting the road at the end of the week. That also means no meal plan for us next week, though I can tell you there will be lobster, yummy homemade biscuits and some Cow's ice-cream consumed on our vacation. (I am rather fond of the "Wowie Cowie" flavour.)

Monday: Dr. Pepper ribs. We were going to have these on Canada Day but bumped them to today when plans to hang out with friends came up. I am going to make a tomato cucumber salad but I'm also thinking I might make some potato packages on the bbq because our potatoes won't last until we get back home.

Tuesday: Steaks and sweet potatoes.

Wednesday: Just me at home so I'll probably try to clean out the fridge some.

Thursday: clean out the fridge night! If there's nothing to clean out we'll probably make a frozen pizza.
