Meal Plan Monday June 11: A Grilling Good Time

I'm home! I love being home! Being home is the BEST. It's not that I didn't eat yummy food in New York (I did) but well, I do love my own kitchen. You all knew that though, right?

You'll see we're grilling a lot. The temperatures are going up this week, which will be a nice change from the last few weeks when it decidedly was not warm. We've got lots of grilled goodies and salads going on and plan to enjoy them. You may also be surprised to see that pizza does not appear in our meal plan this week. *gasp*

Monday: Grilled kofta kebobs and quinoa salad with lime and mint.

Tuesday: Eating out because we are going to the opening of the 1812 exhibit at the Canadian War Museum. Perhaps we'll try the new Mill Street Brew Pub.

Wednesday: It's just me at home and I can't decide what I want. Maybe nachos?

Thursday: Sweet chili bbq chicken and broccoli salad. We're still confirming our plans but I think we'll be eating early that night so we can go see our friend in a play at the Ottawa Little Theatre.

Friday: The fish tacos that were featured on BlogHer last week because they look super yummy.

Saturday: Grilled pork tenderloin. Jerk or orange marmalade glaze? I can't decide.

Sunday: Grilled portobello mushroom burgers with... something salad-y. Maybe a rice salad?

While I was away our container box with the three different kinds of mint it in EXPLODED. We have mojito mint (well, I know what to do with that), chocolate mint and peppermint. What's your favourite thing to do with lots of mint?
