Okay. You know that I just figured out that I want to take this work that is the Blisschick way more seriously and no longer just see it as "warm up" for something else.
Well, literally within 24 hours of figuring that out and really talking it over with Marcy, I got this email in my inbox with the subject line "you are the missing link!"
I thought, "What?! I'm, like, between the Neanderthals and the Homo Sapiens!?"
Very confusing, that subject line...
But no. That's not what it meant at all!
Connie from Dirty Footprints was totally geeked to ask me to join in a little project with her and another artist, and I was immediately, without-hesitation, totally geeked to say "YES!" (Because that is what I do now!!)

Without further Teasing (because I know I've done my share!), Connie and I are pleased to announce the first (of many to come) live and in-person full-day creativity workshop with Connie, the Blisschick (that's me!), and sculptor Andrea:

Self Identity & Story
through Paint, Clay, & Word

On Saturday, September 26th, you could work with Connie and Andrea and me at a beautiful studio in Cleveland, Ohio.
Here's the description of my section:
Writing Your Shiniest Story: Christine Claire Reed
will be taking you on a journey through the creative self via writing
and a bit of beginner yoga, exploring how and where we are creatively
stuck. From there, we will attempt to move our creative energy and
explore how we might more fully actualize our dreams and desires. Along
the way, we will unearth the various stories that we tell ourselves
that are no longer serving us, and we will identify new archetypes that
might guide us into a more fulfilling and challenging story.

All in service of building your own story -- a story to help you be and do all that you have dreamed of since you were twelve, before you ever dared give up on your dreams.
