Meg Thompson (Co-Director) grew up in Lubbock, TX and moved to New York in 1998 to attend New York University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude with a degree in British and American Literature. She started in publishing in 2002 working for President Bill Clinton in his Harlem office as a researcher and fact checker on his memoir, My Life. She then went to work for Charlie Rose as a writer and researcher at his legendary PBS show before joining LJK Literary Management, first as Larry Kirshbaum's editorial assistant and then quickly moving on to handle clients of her own, becoming a senior agent in just two years. She is interested in memoir, narrative non-fiction, popular science and psychology, health, blog-to-book projects, cookbooks, and books on popular culture and humor.
