Megan Hueter

Megan Hueter is the cofounder of, the first blog network that focuses exclusively specifically on women's sports. In just over a year, Hueter, along with business partners Jane Schonberger and Ann Gaffigan, created a niche community of like-minded women and men who were passionate about creating a voice for female athletes in the media.

Upon spreading the word of their online, grassroots efforts, the network grew rapidly. It now contains over 100 contributors ranging from professional and collegiate athletes, coaches, academic researchers, and fans. To date, Hueter has facilitated working partnerships with all of the major professional women's leagues, including the WNBA and Women's Professional Soccer, as well as major organizations like the NCAA and the National Women's Law Center, and major sports brands that have an interest in sport, gender and social innovation.

In an effort to "do what she loves and love what she's doing," Hueter is employed full-time as a Senior Account Executive of Digital & Emerging Media at Catalyst Public Relations, an agency that partners with leading consumer brands (like Under Armour, Timex and SUBWAY Restaurants) to reach the hearts and minds of consumers who live a healthy, active lifestyle. In her position, Hueter assists in the agency's emerging media endeavors in developing and executing strategic interactive and online public relations campaigns.

On a part-time basis, Hueter attends John's Hopkins University, actively pursuing a Masters of Arts degree in Digital Communications. She is a native of Haddon Heights, NJ and a former collegiate basketball player who served as captain of the women's team at The College of New Jersey from 2003-2007.
