I've been writing professionally for newspapers, magazines, and websites since 2004. I'm the voice behind the food blog 5 Second Rule, which has been online since 2008 and enjoys an enthusiastic following. My work has also appeared in Cooking Light, Body + Soul, Health, Vegetarian Times, Restaurants & Institutions, the San Jose Mercury News, Metro Silicon Valley, the Santa Cruz Sentinel, Edible San Francisco, Culinate.com, The Kitchn, Nourish Network, and Serious Eats; and in several books published by the American Heart Association and the EatingWell Media Group.
