I came across Denise's post today about growing a group and immediately noticed "caregiving group". Something you don't know you can handle until it hits you full force, straight between the eyes. Both my parents became very ill suddenly, back to back, in two different states, starting late 2007. Now a year and a half later, one parent fully recovered (a miracle) from a fluke and terrifying virus turned into blood infection following into joints and bones and the other one still struggling with serious illness (but better than last year).  Read more >
