I started a blog as a way to share my stories of motherhood--the good, the bad, the gross. I'm a work at home mom and have been writing since I can hold a pencil. By day, I help great causes through grant writing. Starting a blog is a way for me to get some creative juices going again and write non-technically!

Mom, Bot has Poop on his face (or a typical morning with a toddler)

And that was how the morning started. Collin came into our room in a giddy sprint. "Poop, so much poop." Both Mike and I just regained consciousness. We made our way to Bot's room, then slowly opened the door like in a horror movie. "Oh god," Mike said. Bot stood in his crib, not looking too bothered with his diaper next to his feet. Airplane travel with a toddler

Mike and I used to travel a bunch in our life sans kids. We met in Scotland and went back there to get married. We both thoroughly believe in the idea of experiencing other cultures and want to kick our kids out of the house to study abroad when they're older.
