Homemade Cupcakes

Here are my daughter Marti Pearl's cupcakes. Twenty-four strawberry-on-strawberry with rainbow sprinkles, a job my very precious nearly-three-year-old took quite seriously, sprinkling three or four at a time, which left her adorable little hands color-speckled and sticky. She loves to bake, so much so that she asks to make cookies or cupcakes every. single. night. And she's great at it! About Me:

I was a rowdy Southern girl focused on paint, cheap whiskey, hot Arkansas nights, and being the life of the party...

Nowadays I'm a young single mama raising an incredibly bright and beautiful little girl. I am lucky to spend the better part of my day hokey-pokeying & cookie baking with the coolest person I've ever met.

I am a small business owner, painter, blogger, and community organizer. Raised throughout the Ozarks by hippies, artists, and church-folk, I'm a little bit country and a little bit rock & roll.

I'm a firm believer that sleep is for suckers and frequent spontaneous vacations are the key to success.

I'm still rather Southern, young, and a little rowdy for good measure. I haven't lost my taste for adventure, but have developed a better taste in whiskey and an affinity for fake eyelashes and Twitter.

Its a good life.
