About Me:
Anne Glamore lives
in Birmingham, Alabama with her husband and their three sons. She and
her husband met at the University of Virginia, where they had a
tragically awful first date involving crabs and vomit, and resumed
their friendship at the University of Alabama Law school,
where their relationship evolved into lust and then love. Bill is a
lawyer who spends his free time training for triathlons. He thinks
it's sexy when Anne says techy things like, "I screwed up my HTML."
Anne blogs at Tales From My Tiny Kingdom, where she regales readers with the adventures of raising three boys in the suburbs. She is lowbrow and highbrow, loving US Weekly and the New Yorker equally. She has perfected the male version of the sex talk and learned to manage the Doorknob/Fart game.
She's training her boys to scramble eggs, brew coffee, hang up their
wet towels and use impeccable manners at all times. She forces Finn
(12), Porter (9) and Drew (9) to practice these skills daily so they'll
be irresistible to women and have no trouble finding wives in a timely
manner.
While she's addicted to collard greens and bright red nail polish, Anne has never shared her fellow Southerners' appreciation for monogramming. Although she appreciates a bargain, she believes name brand garbage bags are worth it. If you want to get on her good side, send gin or Brach's jelly beans.
Anne has also blogged for iVillage.com and writes for Lipstick magazine. She contributed to The Mothering Heights Manual For Motherhood (2008).
