Changing You as They Grow

This past Thursday was the official first day of fall. I love fall...anyone who knows me knows this. I love the smells, the colors, the sounds, the feeling of change.... and I love reading 'fall" books to my girls! But this year things were different. My girls were each about reading their own books.... CC was reading about mice, spiders and hamster... Lena was busy reading "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" And me... I was left playing on my iPhone. Really Ticked Off

Ok. I am really ticked off right now. My neighbor has two little dogs. Every morning he lets them go out and poop in my front yard. So Saturday morning I took the liberty and scooped all the poopy up placed it in a neat pile in the corner by his driveway. I came home from my evening walk and he put one of the old dried up terds on the walkway  right by front door!  Read more >

About Me: 

I am a homeschooling, new SAHM of two girls, one 14, the other 9. We have two cats and one dog. I've been with my husband a total of 15 years. I love him more and more each day. He is the comfort I seek when things get too much to handle. I love cooking, reading, collecting cookbooks, quilts and crafts. I am completely craft-challenged though! My blog has allowed me to meet such kind and caring people I otherwise would never have known were out there. I love learning new ideas and finding inspiration in all the fabulous posts that show up on my "reader." This is me, honest, real and true. You may see some scary photos of me, no make up, my husbands clothes...but that it me at that moment. I don't sugar coat anything. I'm honest with you and I would hope you would be honest with me!
