I'm a former Special Education teacher, wife, and mother of two sons and four rescued pets.
Two years ago, I "retired" from my teaching job to devote more time to my family and to fulfill a childhood dream. I became a stay-at-home mom/children's book writer & illustrator. A few months ago, I also became a blogger!
In my spare time (when I'm not busy working on a new book project, or blogging, or taking care of my boys, husband, and pets, or cleaning the house, or doing the laundry, or cooking, or helping with homework and sports), I love reading, watching chick flick movies and reality shows, and working out.

I absolutely love this pizza! I was craving it so much that I had to call my mom to get the recipe. She also gave me 2 nice tips to make the pizza even more tasty!
