One of the activities I participated in prior to V-day at Dartmouth this year was a discussion with Eve Ensler, the playwright and feminist activist best known for her play The Vagina Monologues. Being away from the U.S. for a few years and living in Middle-Eastern cultures where sex is a taboo subject and sexuality is incredibly suppressed, I did not know what to expect from my discussion or from watching the play for the first time.
