Hi, my name is Sophie, 26, and I am fairly new to the blogging world. I live in the Pittsburgh, PA area with my husband of almost 6 years and our two dogs. We are also expecting a little baby boy in May. I was born in Germany and moved here in 2006. I am a Graphic Designer by trade but am currently staying home in anticipation of our son's birth. I also run my own handmade accessories business on Etsy. I blog about things that I enjoy such as family life, art&design, fashion, DYI&Crafts, and currently my pregnancy.  Yesterday I finally got around to painting the wall mural in the nursery :) I am kind of in love with birch trees because of their gorgeous white bark and the way they grow so skinny and tall.   Read more >

I had such a busy day today with a prenatal check-up, some shopping (I found a bikini to take to Florida, yay) and then childbirth class, where they told us all about pain meds and c-sections. I really want to try for a natural birth and we have watched so many documentaries on it that we are convinced it is the best option for us and the baby.  Read more >
