I'm a writer and editor by profession. Was a newspaper reporter back in the day, Business Week staffer, author of four humor books on parenting. Wrote a lot for Parenting and other women's magazines before the bottom fell out of that industry. Editing for AOL these days. I've been keeping a blog about my miserable attempts to cook for my family and friends for more than three years now and find it's the most fun I've had writing in years.
