About Me: 
I think that I’m probably the luckiest woman alive. I get up every morning and I get to do what I love everyday. My business is beauty and I enjoy helping women get a little prettier every day. I’m a beautiologist. That means that I‘m a makeup artist, an eye brow artist, a skin care expert and a jewelry afficiando. I created BeautifulFaces as the perfect beauty spot for women of all ages. Whether shopping in person or shopping on line, my help is always available and I hope always valuable. In addition to feeling good about my work my family brings me immense joy and pride.As a mother, a wife, an entrepreneur and a business woman I enjoy the challenges of balancing my household of three teenagers, a full service beauty studio and a website dedicated to beauty. I also recognize just how difficult finding your career niche can be. At least it was for me, which is why I probably appreciate it so much now. A double major in marketing and economics from the University of Maryland School of Business coupled with over 10 years of institutional brokerage and trading on Wall Street certainly gave me the foundation I needed to eventually create a successful business. The world of Wall Street and trading were never my passion. Out of respect for my father, I followed his dream for me. It would be another 15 years before I followed my own dreams. I always knew I wanted to be in the beauty and cosmetics business. And, like many women it took the anxiety of a divorce and the challenges of single parenting to push me into finally pursuing my true love of skincare, makeup and beauty. And, so I understand how difficult it is to change careers. I even tried my hand at writing and did, in fact, co-author a parenting book in 1997.Since then my writing skills have been focused in on beauty topics. Breaking into the world of cosmetics, hair, skincare and jewelry was and continues to be exciting. I hope I can continue making other women feel and look more beautiful.
