I am originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin (Go Packers!), and now I live in the Chicago suburbs with my husband and two kids.  I currently am a work at home mom who also freelances.   At any given time, I am usually doing 3 to 4 freelance jobs on top of my blogging.

I began blogging in April 2006 to keep in touch with my friends and family who are 4 hours away.  It was a great way to keep in touch.  In July 2006, I suffered a miscarriage and learned that I could help others with my experiences.  Now, I pretty much talk about everything under the sun on my 4 blogs:  My Thoughts, Ideas, and Ramblings, Lisa Reviews, Lisa Cooking, and Lisa’s Travels.

I was one of 15 bloggers to attend the Sony Mommy Bloggers Event in April of 2008 and one of 15 bloggers invited to the Pampers Mommy Bloggers Event. I was also invited to the Epson/Sparkplugging Girls Night Out!  My blog has also been quoted in The New York Times.
