I got asked at a birthday party this afternoon if I was pregnant. This isn't the first, or the second, or even the third or fourth time I've been asked that WHEN I'M NOT PREGNANT. I had the Mirena IUD put in about 10 days ago. Three days later I was begging my doctor to take it out. I was having a host of side-effects, the most disconcerting was difficulty breathing, on top of headache, super fatigue (like early pregnancy), total brain fog (would read things over and over again and not comprehend), and overall, general bitchiness, if you can consider that a side effect.  Read more >

I've realized that my blogroll is slim at best. Truth is, I have a hard time getting around. My husband already gives me a hard enough time for how much I'm on my computer, not to mention my 2-year-old who has mastered the phrase "close computer." But seriously, I'm looking for a few smart, funny, engaging, insightful blogs out there for me to connect with and promote on my site, but I don't have the time to scour the blogosphere.
