2010 Ritual: Clean out the home office space.It gives me a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach to think about making a New Year's resolution because of the anticipation of when and why I will break it. There are so many worthy committments but this year promises to be a big year of change for me no matter what I think I can plan. About Me:
With children, a home to run and a family business, it is difficult to keep a sense of self. I am very much here for my family but I am happiest when I can maintain some semblance of the self that I want to nurture and develop, my self as an artist.
I think I am not alone in this. As I read through The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron, I will be writing my morning pages and going through the exercises. I hope to find more kindred spirits and hopefully we can encourage eachother.
