I am mommy to two: one female tween and one female kitty. I am also a daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and niece. I am a single mom, an older mom, an opinionated mom. I am a nurse and a protester, an advocate for women and children's rights. I believe that for all of the challenges this world holds for me that this is a great time to be alive.
