I just recently started a new website that I am over-the-moon excited about. I've thought about doing it for years, but have only recently had the time to devote to it. Last week I started the Crafty Book Club as a way for artists to come together, read books and share creations inspired by those books. How it Works  Read more >

Lost is Over, Now What? My Top Ten Ideas for Lost Spin-Off Shows

Lost has sadly come to an end, and I do mean sadly. I bawled during the entire episode, and then totally lost it (no pun intended) over the final scene with Jack and Vincent. About Me:

I spend most of my time wielding a torch and creating original wearable art for my jewelry line: Quite Clever Jewelry. I also write a daily blog on news pertaining to Vegans and Vegetarians called Veggie Scene.

Experience and Education:

I have worked in the fields of art, education and writing for over ten years. I earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and art and a master's degree in secondary education. After college, I worked for a small entertainment magazine in Colorado, where I honed my writing and editing skills. I eventually moved back to my home state and became an art teacher. I worked as a teacher for five years, teaching both high school and elementary students. Now I work as a bench jeweler and a professional freelance writer, focusing primarily on art-related articles.

My writing can be found on the following sites:

  • I'm The Boss of Me Now - A blog that documents freelance writing experience. You'll find articles about writing for residual earnings.
  • Suite101 - A collection of my online articles.
  • Quite Clever Jewelry - A blog about metalsmithing, making jewelry and art business.
  • Craft Business Tips A-Z - A blog featuring A - Z business tips for crafters.
  • Vegetarian Fashion - A store and blog on cruelty-free shoes, clothes and accessories.
  • Stitched Jewels - This book features my original Floating Tulle earring designs along with project directions.
