One spring day in June 2008, my daughters and I were baking muffins. I looked at the three of us in our BBQ aprons and the girls were complaining about how it pulled on their necks and I looked down to see my apron hugging my hips (not my most flattering circumference). That's when I had a light bulb moment. I decided to make us all some cute feminine aprons. That moment was the spark that lit the flame that is now Candy Apple Apparel Inc. These aprons are made for comfort with a fun original style in mind that is "Unique to the core". They come in adult and child sizes. Made in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, these aprons are inspired by the 1950’s style my Grandmother wore. Next I will be working on a line of fabric hair flowers "Candy Apple Blossoms" to use up all the fabric I use making aprons. "Waste not, want not" and all that :) As well I'm coming up with half aprons for kids and adults. Look for them coming soon!
