Solar Christmas Lights?

I successfully escaped "Black Friday" shopping (yea!) without visiting any mall or major big box retailer. One exception was my foray into our local home improvement store in search of a piece of wood needed for minor furniture repair. World Car Free Day

September 22, 2007 is World Car Free Day. To celebrate, I can ride the city bus to work if I call in now to say I'll be a little late for work. My co-workers and I tried to convince the administration that occasionally working from home would be environmentally friendly and the right thing to do.
