The holiday is approaching so I thought I would write about Valentine's Day because to me, it seems so very commercialized. When I was a kid growing up in rural WV there weren't very many opportunities to participate in theater or art. In fact, I only had an art class in elementary school because my phys ed. teacher happened to be an artist. One day a week we would have art instead of phys ed.
