Marine. Lawyer. Mommy. Wife.  I have an opinion on everything.

I'm having trouble letting go of that old tagline even though our life is quickly starting to change directions.  I am currently at the beginning stage of transitioning from life as a Marine Lawyer to one as a Sustainable Homesteader.

In that vein, I blog about workable everyday sustainability, natural parenting, gardening, Ethical Eating, being a working mom, and the law, and a few random topics that strike my fancy, usually books, religion, and life.

I attack everything in life with a mix of extraordinary genius and niave incompetance, and it is often difficult to tell which is which. (Paraphrased from Douglas Adams, one of my favorite authors)
