Approaching the Commitment as an Experiment

A blog a day for a month? As you know, I joined NaBloPoMo, which means that I made a commitment to do a blog a day for a month. I approached this not as a chore, but as an experiment. As it goes, my experiment has been a smashing success even though I was not able to maintain the one-blog-a-day commitment for the past four days due to lack of Internet access in the Great Smoky Mountains.  Read more >

About Me: 

I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother living on a small farm in the Southeast. I am a personal chef and I love all things food and wine. My husband and I travel extensively...most recently returning to Mexico to learn more about the culture, food, and tequila, of course!

We have horses, dogs, cats, peacocks, and the wild deer and turkeys that wander into our yard to feast under the bird feeders. A challenge has been to garden while entertaining all our animal friends, hence my frequent trips to local farm markets!
