Dearest Santa, Before we get to the nitty gritty, the list of " Gimme's", I feel I should apologise. I have been neither consistently good nor nice this year. Mea maxima culpa. I try to be good. A Charmed Life

Ruby 1995-2009: I have lived a charmed life. The joys have been bountiful, the blessings many, the griefs limited and for that I am so very thankful. Yet today my heart is aching with the loss of my friend and companion of fifteen years. My little dog, Ruby, has died, peacefully, in the night, afflicted by nothing more grievous than old age. At 51, following a series of life affirming catastrophes, I find myself starting over. My blog, C.O.W.S (cranky old woman syndrome) is the ruminations of an ocassionally argumentative, often humourous and vaguely politically incorrect would be writer.
