I am a freelance writer, culinary historian, and world traveler. I am the author of the award-winning nonfiction memoir/travel narrative Waltzing Australia. As a writer, I specialize in history, culture, language arts, and food. My clients range from educational publishers to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation to Farmers' Markets Today.

I have two blogs: Waltzing Australia, which supports my book (like the bonus tracks on a DVD -- photos and extra info to enhance the adventure), and The World's Fare, which features the food history and lore that I hope will turn into my next book, as well as travel destinations other than Australia.
