Slapping You With Kitsch — As Often As Possible. Specializing In Bad Taste From A (Feminist) Chick’s Perspective. Pop Culture Right In Your Kisser.
More than living simply, more than living 'green', thrifty grandmas knew the importance of the 'economics' in Home Economics.
My blog on parenting -- more cute anecdotes than you can shake a stick at, blended with honest anger, guilt, laughter & tears. A dash of 'news' as the required serving of vegetables. No repression here.
Exploring being female (for that's what we are) in a world of media myths, publishing incompetence, and marketing madness -- as well as the female submission and subscription to those messages.

About Me:

An avid collector of many things but especially kitsch and “things pertaining to female history,” she's obsessed with discovering an object and uncovering its place in history & culture.

The only thing she loves more than researching & collecting is talking writing (nearly anything but bios about herself) and so has been blabbing on the internet for 10 years.

Former single mom, mother of a special needs child, & now, with a new marriage post domestic violence divorce, a 'long distance' mom and a step-mom -- she is a mom-of-all-trades.

You can find/follow her at Twitter too.
