I live in Los Angeles, which is more like a vast international buffet than it is a melting pot. I’m sandwiched between Koreatown and Silverlake, minutes from Thai Town and any number of taco stands. Los Angeles is a great place to live for any foodie due to its diverse population. There’s always something new to discover here. 

My parents are of Pakistani/Indian descent, and several of the recipes I feature on my blog are straight from their kitchen. 

Thai Coconut Soup

It was foggy when I woke up this morning. I bundled up, put on a scarf and thought about soup all day. Thai and Vietnamese soups are cold-weather soups for me because they are complex.
