Perfect Timing

Three, two, one... I slowly opened my eyes.Silent prayers rushed out of my dry lips as I reluctantly lowered my gaze to the stick that was tightly held in my right hand. But I'm not ready, God.His laughter was loud and clear in my ears. Are You mocking me, God?I heard Him chuckled.  Oh Sweaty, you plan too much.A sense of dread came over me.  It was as if I knew then that I would not get what I wished for.  Not this time.My timing is always perfect.  Read more >

A State of Inertia

I blinked.  The room was dark despite the opened curtains.  I must have slept far longer than I thought.  Read more >

My Mother's Daughter

I was curled up fetus-like on the bed.  Hands in fists that held on to the blanket like a lifeline.  The tears had stopped flowing for some time, exhausted for the night.  I kept my eyes shut although every detail of the room was already etched in my memory.  Trinkets and remnants of a life lived together.  Their presence loomed all around me, a reminder of what was lost.  Someone opened the door, footsteps quick and light on the hardwood floor.&n  Read more >

Playing Dress Up

One minute we were Sweaty, Lips, and Mouthy; the next, we were Queen of Hearts, Pink Pirate, and Red Riding Hood.  Bought just days earlier, the costumes were corny, not to mention a little slutty.  Read more >

About Me:

I started blogging in March 2011, just because I've always loved writing. Nothing serious, just mostly about thoughts and ideas that usually frequented my mind.  Then my world sorta turned upside down when my hubby of 11 years first confessed of having a 'midlife crisis' and then later on wanting a divorce.  Talk about dropping the bomb.

I am a stay-at-home mom to an almost 7 year-old little girl who is just one of the most kindest person I've ever met in my whole life.  I talked about her a lot in my blog.  If you read my posts and see the name Miss Chatterbox, that's her :)  She has and continues to change my life in ways I couldn't have imagined before becoming a mother, so I definitely owe it to her to acknowledge her HUGE role in my life.

I'm still learning when it comes to blogging.  There are just so much to discover, learn, and master!  Sometimes I feel like I'm doing ok, but most of the times you betcha I'm going nuts, what with me being neurotic bordering on psychotic and all.  Oh, and you may also add to that list that I have propensities towards the hysterics and major obsessive compulsive tendencies.

Given all the things that's going on in my life right now, I'm so glad to have started my blog, through which I have 'met' really awesome and inspiring friends.  Their support and the ability to vent out my emotions in writing have been a tremendous help in keeping me sane day to day.  Still, given a choice, I much prefer writing about the funnies more than the more serious drama that's my life.  Or at least I write about the humor in an ugly situation as much as I can.
