McCain lashed out yesterday in Missouri against the “Feminist Left.” Frustrated he is losing the women’s vote big time he is supposedly “defending” Sarah Palin against the “Feminist Left.” What McCain is really frustrated about is that women are not fooled by his placing Sarah Palin on the ticket. Women, Mr. McCain, vote on women’s issues, not on whether the candidate wears a skirt or not. Read more >

She has been on the frontlines fighting for women's equality for over 30 years and has been at the forefront of many major women's rights victories including the integration of Little League, interscholastic athletics, and police departments as well as the passage of landmark legislation, such as the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (1978), Civil Rights Restoration Act (1987), Civil Rights Act (1991), Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act (1994), Violence Against Women Act (1998), and Afghan Freedom Support Act (2002).
