I am the first to admit when my kids are out of control.  Really.  I am.  I'll usually roll my eyes, let out a deep sigh or an "Oh my word!" and quickly remove myself and my kids from the situation... after I've threatened them with their lives, that is.Sunday, however, was not one of those days.  Read more >

My sister is a registered nurse.  She got a job at an organization called One Legacy about 2 or 3 years ago.  All I knew for a while was that she helped somewhere in the process of getting organs from patients who were declared brain dead, to patients that were waiting in desperate need.  She deals with the "getting" end of the business instead than the "giving" side, so you can imagine she has some really uplifting stories for the Thanksgiving table.  Not...  Read more >

I blog regularly at www.queen-of-the-jungle.com

I'm a stay at home mom to three boys with a husband that used to be in ministry, but is now a mold inspector.  Long story.  We're enjoying life outside of the fishbowl for a change.  

I blog and read blogs that take the challenges of motherhood lightly.  If you can't laugh at yourself, then life is just hard, and who likes that?  Not me!  

We live in southern california, so we enjoy the beach and spending time outside together, not to be confused with being outdoorsy, because I am not outdoorsy in the slightest.    

When I grow up I would like to dance the freedom dance (as my children will be out of my house) and cruise around the world with my husband.
