Akilah S. Richards is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University where she studied Speech Communications. Her energies have been devoted to assisting with the writing, editing and marketing of several magazines, film productions and independent book publishers throughout Georgia and Florida.


Akilah's debut book, Execumama: A Pocket Guide for the Twenty-something Mommy on the Move, is a non-fictional piece that details the struggle and ultimate triumph of minority women who blaze career paths without compromising the care and attention that their children and partners need.
