I am a Los Angeles-resident and write mostly on politics and my city. A self-employed mother of 2, I work with my husband with his business and also own and operate Adirah, a jewelry and accessory company.

One of my short-term goals is run the Los Angeles Marathon in 2010, so I also write on health and fitness. My focus is mainly on being healthy on the cheap and using technology. My other passions include gardening, food, photography and sustainable living.
