Marla is an active stay at home mother of two busy adorable kids.  She has a two year old boy and a five year old girl. On a recent ski trip Marla was described as having a "kinetic personality."   She likes to keep moving and the kids keep her on her toes at all times!

She has a strong passion for exercise and a great love of food.   She comes from a textile design background.  She has created  graphics, illustration and textile designs for Disney, Scholastic, Warner Bros. and loads of other fun clients.  She also licenses her own designs for various products.   In the past few years she has expanded her palette of design tools to include kitchen utensils.  She enjoys crafting creative meals from scratch with healthy, clean, fresh ingredients.

She thinks about food pretty much non-stop so she figured that setting up a foodie blog might help invite conversation and give her a space to share creative recipes and nutrition tips with other families. She is constantly on the hunt for new recipes and ideas to keep herself, her husband and her kids eating healthy, yummy meals.  Marla believes in a combination of healthy eating and daily exercise to stay mentally sharp, and physically fit.
