I wrote a post recently mourning the loss of a soap opera veteran. She was the matriarch of a show I watched with my grandmother, when I was a girl.  My nanny called her soap operas "her stories".  She got me hooked on Days of Our Lives.  I blame my mother for getting me hooked on Dark Shadows and The Young & the Restless. I can only blame myself for General Hospital.   Read more >
