Gail Becker

Gail Becker is chair of Canada, Latin America and U.S. Western Region, and serves as chair of Edelman’s Global Women’s Executive Network (GWEN) overseeing the company’s effort to increase the number of women at the senior most levels of the firm.

Gail brings a breadth of experience encompassing consumer marketing, public affairs, technology and entertainment. She has served as strategic counsel on a range of clients including Warner Bros., Starbucks, Microsoft, Norton and MPAA.

Gail joined Edelman as general manager of the Los Angeles office and then served as Western Region president.

Prior to Edelman, Gail served as vice president of communications for Warner Bros., director of communications for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and on the national press staff for the Clinton/Gore presidential campaign in 1992. She began her career as a local broadcast journalist and then as a correspondent in Washington, D.C.
