Sometimes my job is filled with innocence, aggravation, sorrow, enthusiam, bitterness, denial, anger and a myriad of emotions. These soldiers, airmen, seamen and marines, mostly boys and sometimes girls, come through our hospital with all manner of injuries, mostly derived from IEDs, accidents,  gun shot wounds and occasionally from sheer bad luck.  As one could understand the wounds and emotions go hand-in-hand.  Read more >

About Me: 

I'm a crochet obsessed, slightly sarcastic, Oregonian and military wife. I like to cook, craft oddities, photograph my life and love my family and friends. My blog tends to be as utterly random of myself often full of photography, hooking bits and more often than not discussing the last 15 months of our nearly 8-year infertility journey.

My favorite personality is my blogging tag "Darla." It all started as a smart alec tradeoff between my twin sister "Alfalfa" and brat sister "Buckwheat."
