About Me:

I am the little girl who grew up in the Aussie bush. I am the woman with an adventurous spirit who joined the Army out of highschool, who loves to travel alone and experience the many and varied cultures and food of the world. Who decided not to stay a lawyer and instead moved to Texas to go to graduate school. I am the woman who also loves her cottage-by-the-sea (in Scotland) and the quotidian of the home. I am the reader, the writer, the teacher, and the contemplative scholar. I am a photographer who loves to capture beauty and strength and aspects of a subject's character they didn't realise was there. I am a sister. A daughter. A friend. I am a scholar-blogger.
