I'm new to this blog (having stumbled on it--I forget how), but it's intriguing. As far as a "Bio", I'm a pretty private person, except for my political and social views. I'm a Liberal and proud and I admit this influences many of my life decisions, as it has since I was around twelve.

I'm married with one great kid, who just turned 18. SO...I'm at "that stage" of my life: reassessing priorities, trying to seque into a new lifestyle that's not filled with my son's comings and goings, friends, school problems--as much! And trying to "let go" is much harder than I thought. So far, my only newfound activity is that I discovered I love photographing flowers, specifically the ones in my garden.

I'm a huge fan of movies, music of almost all kinds and a writer of fiction and non-fiction. Nothing's been published yet except a couple poems, but hope springs eternal.

To quote from a favorite film, "The Shawshank Redemption", "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things...and no good thing ever dies." I'll fill this in a bit more as I get the time.
