About Me:

Heather Meyer, M.A., is a passionate fitness expert who believes in the power of transformation through movement. As an instructor, Heather is loved for her energy, inspiration, and positivity. She can get you to smile and sing while you sweat during her intense dance cardio and strength workouts. Heather has danced her way through life, starting with her own choreography to her first cassette tape, Flashdance. After years of training in ballet, she studied dance at the University of Oregon and was a member of the Briggs Modern Dance Company and the Oregon Ethnic Dance Theater. Upon moving to Oakland, Heather studied Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing, giving her a new way of movement and release. In a continual quest for taking her knowledge to deeper levels, she became a certified Personal Trainer and Zumba instructor, and is currently learning the art of Shiatsu massage. Heather enjoys bringing a sense of fun and passion to all of her fitness endeavors as well as life! When she is not dancing, she can be found teaching first grade students how to read, crafting a poem, and cooking in her kitchen while composing choreography. She is looking forward to sharing her passion with you while helping you create your own beautiful!
