I am a 61 year old, educated, single woman that has and have survived struggles and hardships that totally rocked my world. Through writing, I have turned my struggles and hardships into gaining insight about my faith, strength and courage that I did not know I had. I am a published author of newspaper articles, several poem on the Internet and books, received two Editor's Choice Awards and my most recent accomplishment, my first novel, "Shades Of Valor". My novel is dedicated to all of us who have had struggles and hardships and have walked through the storm and found a rainbow at the end. "I believe that valor is not just earned on a battlefield but in the process of living life on life's terms." My novel can be purchased online at most bookstores. My life has truly been an incredible journey of a girl,16, making a wrong choice to an adult that has gained true wisdom and inner strength.
