Hi, I started my blog  Inebriated Epicurean to share prepare-ahead recipes with hosts who love to entertain fabulously while also enjoying great wines/beers/cocktails with their guests. The aim is to enjoy the evening while serving food to impress your guests, and not harming yourself or igniting small fires in the kitchen because of impaired judgement! I am an Australian living in the US and I love to cook and entertain.  I firmly believe the key to successful entertaining is to prepare as much as possible beforehand so that you can enjoy the company of your friends, and great wines you have selected to compliment your delicious meal. Nobody loves a stressed host! And remember – the Inebriated Epicurean should avoid the urge to be flamboyant and flambe. Trust me; it never ends well!
