According to Meyer, the book is about losing true love. The vampire romance "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" sucked up $140.7 million in its first three days and pulled in a total of $258.8 million worldwide, according to studio estimates Sunday. From its midnight Thursday opening, Moon was headed for the record books. The film did $26.3 million in midnight screenings, shattering the record of $18.5 million held by Knight.
