Jen Cullerton Johnson is a writer, editor, and educational consultant. She published prose and creative non fiction for adults and children. She won several awards such as, the 2006 Illinois Artist Fellowship Award for Creative Non-fiction, a fiction scholarship to Indiana University's Writer's conference, and the Gwendolyn Brooks State of Illinois Poetry award.Jen is the founder a new and innovative approach to reading and writing called Books of Plenty. Books of Plenty is a book making project where Chicago youth read books, write books, illustrate books then exchange books with other youth around the globe.
