For years we have known about the great corner of the blogosphere that houses the mom blogs. For most of us the circle of life entails growing up, moving out and starting our lives separate from our parents. Many of us start families and we become the parents. Some of us at one point or another find ourselves caught in that place where you are needed as both the caregiver to your children and also to your parents. It is stressful. About Me: 

I have been a professional freelance writer for over 5 years. I have been published locally, nationally and internationally.  I am also a contributing author to the parenting anthology Sleep is for the Weak.  I am  currently working on my memoir with my amazingly patient literary agent.In my free writing time I am pounding out that second manuscript.

I am a columnist for Parenting Magazine's online site.

I am a contributing (and an original) editor at BlogHer for the Mommy & Family section. I was a speaker on the much talked about break-out panel the at the BlogHer '05 conference--the first Mommybloggers panel. At the BlogHer '06 conference, I was a member of the core BlogHer team, a speaker on a noted panel on blogger outreach, and a morning keynote speaker. 

And at times when the work all becomes too much, I do what I do best...motherhood.
