  So after all was said and done I didn't qualify for insurance and was beginning to freak out. My OB costs like six-grand for all the prenatal stuff and that price didn't include hospital services or antyhing, which can easily run another $10,000. Then she wanted me to get ultrasounds every month and that's another $350/ea. (I hate ultrasounds.)  Read more >

We were at my grandmother’s house last weekend. Note: My great-grandmother is 93 – we go there a lot – you know, I want to make sure I visited her within one week in case she dies. The Baby Borrowers – Birth Control? Not Quite…

First off – I love this show. Watching teenagers cope with kids touches the black, dark part of my heart that laughs when people trip. Ok, I don’t really laugh when people trip unless they’re wearing four-inch Manolos or Christian Laboutin shoes (the $400 shoes with the red soles so everyone knows they cost an arm and a leg.) I'm a work from home mom that owns two businesses with my husband and does some freelance writing on the side. My three kids are 5, 4, and 7months (I hope I remember to update this regularly or a year from now you'll still think I have a seven month old daughter.)

 

I blog because journalling is frustrating. My hand cramps when I write more than a paragraph, but I can type for days with no problem. Therefore, I blog.
