 I write with humor and research about kids, parenting, events in the Washington, DC area, all in the name of   bringing resources and info (and pee-your-pants laughs) to busy parents.

I'm speaking at BlogHer 2010 in the Change Agents ROYO on Resource Blogging.  I've been featured in Forbes, got a job writing for Nickelodeon ParentsConnect, contribute to The Washington Post and all other sorts of bloggy validation. However, I still have to clean the litter box, do laundry daily and pluck my own chin hairs. Don't those cats, kids and hairs KNOW WHO I AM?

I have two kids, a six year old son and a four year old daughter. Thanks to them I may have lost my waist, I have often lost my temper, I sometimes lose my mind but I haven't lost my sense of humor.

I maintain an extensive daily activity calendar of kids' activities and I highlight cool outings, community badasses, freebies and music venues to which you can wear a sling and drink a beer at the same time.
