JESSICA...has a bachelors in special education and loves children with special needs. and although she could be in the structured classroom daily with weekends and summers off, she instead finds herself in the throws of the day to day changing, year round nanny world. she once decided being a nanny was not a grown up job, so instead of teaching and in an attempt to find herself, she decided to get her nose pierced and go to hair school. somewhere in between, she ended up blond. that was dumb. she is now a beauty school dropout with very dark hair, but from time to time wishes she still had the nose ring. (and she would, if her friend bess would not have dropped it down the drain. she has it out for jessica.) she also quickly observed that she was not as cool as the people that do hair, and should stop trying to achieve the impossible. she should stick with her first love. children. they even let her do their hair sometimes, but tell jessica that her hair is flat. they like to keep it real. they help jessica realize where she needs to be. but most importantly, they think jessica is cool. really, really cool. because she told them that. please don't tell them the truth.
